Westbrook Mission Statement

Swine Flu Info
New Advice on Influenza OutbreakThe Center for Disease Control (CDC) has put forth new guidelines regarding influenza and school closings. The CDC is now recommending that schools remain open, unless a significant percentage of confirmed cases are found within a school population. We have been continually monitoring this outbreak with the data you have provided our schools, and with the observations and recording of our health professionals. At no time have we had any elevated numbers of flu-like symptoms and, of course, no probable or confirmed cases. While all health precautions regarding influenza are still in place, the threat to our students and schools appears to be lessening.
Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding.
